The "Golf Learning and
Service Technicians Group"
Who are these NEW Golf PROFESSIONALS ?
Rebels or innovators
Like all the groups of this kind, this one was born from needs judged important. Although,
the needs affecting lower back health were much more important than its founder had
imagined. From what many golfers tell, the problem goes from regular discomfort to
constant pain in the lower back at the lumbar vertebras level. The worse part is that traditional
pro teachers know what causes the pain but they pretend not being able to solve the
problem. It seems that we have to suffer to be a good -and beautiful- golfer.
Meanwhile, we keep on teaching what causes that pain while forgetting to search to find what
golfers should do to avoid it. The good physical condition is not yet part of traditional golf teaching.
That is why the NEW group endorses GOLF COMFORT*, the complete Method integrating a NEW
approach and a NEW technique while giving more importance to Physical conditioning and
mental work. As a matter of fact, everything is NEW and that is for the better.
The most negative and contradictory statement is that traditional pro teachers keep on
telling occasional golfers to imitate the professionals far back up swing from the circuit. If
only amateur golfers would know the Physical conditioning efforts those professionals do
to reach PGA, CPGA and LPGA, many more golfers wouldn't count on the only fact of
playing to get themselves in good physical shape any more. They would do some exercises
before they play.
The G.L.S.T Group dedicates all its efforts to make golf accessible to as many people
as possible with the new Method they endorse. Its active members do it while innovating to
demonstrate that global health and golf performance depend on lower back health; although,
they are considered as rebels rather than innovators. So, we will have to wait for the Method
positive results on many more golfers. The group founder Gaston St-Pierre will launch, soon, the book on the GOLF COMFORT* complete Method. Inspired by Mindy Blake,
an innovative golfer of the 70s, he decides to go beyond that technique by making it more
accessible to occasional golfers.
The members of this group are mostly passionate for teaching and they rarely participate to tournaments. The group plans to promote and/or advertise
for free the products its members think are good or appropriate for occasional golfers, while
making product reviews.
Research and Development
Well known brand name equipments are conceived with the exclusive help
of professionals from circuits within big budget and elaborated Research and
Development programs. The professionals under lucrative contracts playing
with those equipments are hoping to give the best possible visibility so the
equipments sell more… and for a lot more money! No consideration are made
to occasional golfers. We only have to hope that one day, golf equipment manufacturers
will take into consideration occasional golfers opinion and consideration. When this day
will come, occasional golfers will finally play better, a lot better!
The members of this new group bring a new notion of PLEASURE while playing golf in
the summer… and downhill skiing in the winter! This is something to watch in the
method from the book GOLF COMFORT* coming soon.
Golfers passionate of their sport who wish to promote golf by making it technically
accessible are invited to join the GOLF Learning and Service technicians Group:
